This new multi-floor addition expands an existing OR suite by providing 12,000 square feet of operating rooms, support space and recovery rooms dedicated to cardiac surgery, and creates shell space for future expansions of other programs on adjacent floors. Two large surgery rooms are supported by a central sterile supply area and dedicated cardiac supply rooms. Eight individual recovery rooms are controlled by two nurse stations sharing a common corridor. Patient rooms are sized to comfortably accommodate family members and provide natural light through large windows offering views to nature.
